Steam cleaner by Kärcher, model SG 4/4. It belongs to the brand professional range: the 2.4 l steel boiler produces steam at up to 4 bar and reaches 145 °C, while the 2 l cold-water tank is refilled without switching the machine off, so work is not interrupted to wait for the boiler to cool. It includes VapoHydro control, which adds hot water to the steam jet for heavily ingrained dirt.
When choosing a steam cleaner, look at the steam pressure and output, the tank or boiler capacity and the working autonomy, since these decide how long you can clean without a pause, and also at the heat-up time and the accessory set supplied. High-temperature steam is used on surfaces that tolerate it: always check the instructions of the floor or textile manufacturer before treating it, fill the appliance with water as stated in the manual and let it cool down before emptying it. The unit runs from an ordinary 220-240 V domestic socket.
