Shark Steam and Scrub S8201UK Automatic Steam Mop 1120 W

Steam cleaner by Shark, model Steam & Scrub S8201UK. It is an upright steam mop whose head carries two pads that spin at 150 revolutions per minute while steam is released, so it scrubs and steams sealed hard floors at the same time. It has three automatic modes – light, normal and deep – and the Steam Blaster function, which directs a concentrated jet of steam at stuck-on dirt. It works with water alone, with no chemicals, has LED headlights on the head and is supplied with four washable Dirt Grip pads.

When choosing a steam cleaner, look at the steam pressure and output, the tank or boiler capacity and the working autonomy, since these decide how long you can clean without a pause, and also at the heat-up time and the accessory set supplied. High-temperature steam is used on surfaces that tolerate it: always check the instructions of the floor or textile manufacturer before treating it, fill the appliance with water as stated in the manual and let it cool down before emptying it. The unit runs from an ordinary 220-240 V domestic socket.

The data shown comes from the documentation published by the manufacturer; in case of divergence the official datasheet prevails. The product is covered by the two-year statutory warranty for defects under German law (§§ 434 ff. BGB).
