Steam cleaner by Bissell, model SpotClean HydroSteam 3689E. It is a portable spray-and-extract machine for stains: it sprays water with formula onto rugs, carpets, upholstery or a car interior and sucks the dirty liquid back into a separate 1.4 l tank. HydroSteam technology adds steam to the solution to soften dried-in stains and sticky residue. It comes with an upholstery nozzle, a cleaning brush and formula, and the 1.5 m hose lets you work on stairs and seats without moving the body of the machine.
When choosing a steam cleaner, look at the steam pressure and output, the tank or boiler capacity and the working autonomy, since these decide how long you can clean without a pause, and also at the heat-up time and the accessory set supplied. High-temperature steam is used on surfaces that tolerate it: always check the instructions of the floor or textile manufacturer before treating it, fill the appliance with water as stated in the manual and let it cool down before emptying it. The unit runs from an ordinary 220-240 V domestic socket.
The data shown comes from the documentation published by the manufacturer; in case of divergence the official datasheet prevails. The product is covered by the two-year statutory warranty for defects under German law (§§ 434 ff. BGB).
