Wood Burning Insert Stove by Panadero, model Insert C-720-S. A wood-burning appliance compliant with the Ecodesign regulation, declared by the manufacturer at a nominal output of 7 kW and a heating volume of 210 m³, equivalent to up to 84 m² of floor area.
Three figures are worth checking before buying: the output in kW against the volume actually to be heated; the flue outlet diameter, 150 mm on this model, which dictates the connecting pipe and the liner; and the maximum log length accepted, 50 cm. Installation requires a chimney with adequate draught, a combustion air supply and the clearances to combustible materials stated in the manual. External dimensions are 625 x 700 x 566 mm (H x W x D) and the flue exit is vertical. Commissioning should be carried out by a qualified installer.
