The LSTE LST075E is a 750 W wall-mounted electric panel heater built so that the casing never goes above 43 °C, the limit British safety guidance sets for environments with vulnerable people. That is why it is specified for care homes, nurseries, schools and healthcare settings, and for the same reason it makes sense in a home with small children or older people, where a conventional emitter running at 70-80 °C is a burn risk.
The controls are touch operated and lockable against tampering, with 24-hour and 7-day programming and an electronic thermostat holding ±0.2 °C. It has adaptive start and open-window detection so it does not heat when there is no need, and it accepts remote control from the Dimplex Control app once the RFM module and the Dimplex Hub are added, both sold separately. The IP24 rating allows installation in bathrooms. The floor area quoted is indicative, computed at 100 W/m².
