When choosing an air fryer, look at the usable capacity of the drawer or drawers and how many portions it takes at once, at the temperature range and preset programmes, and at whether the parts that touch food are dishwasher safe. Dual-zone models let you cook two foods at once with different settings. The appliance goes on a stable surface with free space around and above it for the hot air outlet, and connects to a 220-240 V socket.
