Freestanding cooker by AEG, model CCX1530ACB, 55 cm wide in black, an intermediate width that helps when the available gap falls short of 60 cm. The ceramic hob has four zones with residual heat indicators: two 1700 W 180 mm zones and two 1200 W 145 mm zones. The main oven is fanned with 77 usable litres, a defrost function, a programmable timer, interior light and catalytic liners; the 39-litre top oven is conventional with a grill. The declared total electrical load is 11 100 W.
When choosing a freestanding cooker, check the cabinet width and the gap left between the units either side, the hob type, the usable capacity of each oven and the supply it needs: an electrical circuit rated for the declared load and, on gas or dual fuel models, a gas connection made by a registered installer. Leave the ventilation clearance stated in the manual and fit the anti-tip device supplied with the appliance.
