Wall-mounted oil-filled radiator by Masterplug, SmartEnergy Comfort range, reference OILW150G8UK-MP. The body combines aluminium and ABS and encloses the thermal oil, which holds heat after the thermostat cuts out: the typical behaviour of an oil radiator, slower to warm up than a convector but steadier. It joins the home Wi-Fi network without a hub and accepts control from an iOS or Android app, from the buttons on the unit, and by voice through Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
Programming covers 7-day and 24-hour cycles, with adjustable low-energy modes and automatic temperature control; the app also tracks the unit’s energy use. It is fixed to the wall with the brackets and fixings supplied, comes with a fitted plug and a 1.5 m cable, and has overheat protection, overload protection and a low surface temperature design. The IP24 rating allows installation in damp rooms provided the safety zones set by the wiring regulations are respected.
The data shown comes from the documentation published by the manufacturer; in case of divergence the official datasheet prevails. The product is covered by the two-year statutory warranty for defects under German law (§§ 434 ff. BGB).
