A front-loading closed-combustion wood appliance with a ceramic glass door, declared by the manufacturer at a nominal output of 4.9 kW and an efficiency of 81 %. It is intended as a main or supplementary heat source for living rooms and open-plan spaces, with a heating capacity of to be sized by the installer according to the manufacturer’s datasheet.
Three figures are worth checking before buying: the output in kW against the volume actually to be heated, the flue outlet diameter — 125 mm on this model, which dictates the connecting pipe and the liner — and the maximum log length accepted, 40 cm. Installation requires a chimney with adequate draught, a combustion air supply, the clearances to combustible materials stated in the manual and a floor able to carry 86 kg. Commissioning should be carried out by a qualified installer.
