Inset electric fire by Dimplex, model Helmsdale, with a brass-effect trim and fret. It is a classic replacement model, meant to fill the opening of a standard fireplace surround and bring back the fire without building work: the Optiflame flame is produced by LEDs over an artificial fuel bed and there is no combustion.
Its shallow 90 mm depth makes it easy to fit into shallow openings; measure the opening and check the 230-240 V supply before buying. The heater delivers up to 2000 W with an energy-saving thermostat and the flame effect can be used with the heater off.
The data shown comes from the documentation published by the manufacturer; in case of divergence the official datasheet prevails. The product is covered by the two-year statutory warranty for defects under German law (§§ 434 ff. BGB).
