The Dimplex Cheriton Deluxe Optiflame Black Nickel is an inset electric fire designed to reuse an existing fireplace opening without any flue work. It runs from a standard 230 V socket and pairs the Optiflame flame effect with a 2000 W heater.
Before choosing a model, measure the opening or the run of wall available and check that the socket can take the appliance’s maximum load. The flame effect can be used on its own, without heat, to keep the atmosphere all year round, while the heater is kept for cold days. Keep it clear of curtains, furniture and flammable materials and follow the manufacturer’s fitting instructions; this model is fitted into a fireplace opening.
The specifications listed come from the manufacturer’s published documentation; always check the installation manual before buying. Sold with the 2-year statutory warranty under German law (§§ 434 ff. BGB) (manufacturer’s commercial warranty: 2 years).
