It suits homes with hard floors where going over the same floor twice with two machines is not wanted.
When choosing a wet and dry vacuum, look at the capacity of the two tanks, the width of the roller, whether the dock washes and dries the roller by itself and at what temperature, and the declared noise level. It is also worth checking how far the unit reclines to reach under furniture. It charges from a 220-240 V socket and the dock needs a clear patch of floor.
