Freestanding gas cooker from the Hotpoint Cannon range, model CD67G0CCX, 60 cm wide in stainless steel. The hob carries four burners, among them a triple-crown wok burner that the manufacturer describes as 15 % faster than a standard burner, cast iron pan supports and a glass lid; the gas controls offer ten flame levels. The main oven is a conventional gas cavity of 84 usable litres with interior light and catalytic liners, and the 42-litre second oven houses an electric grill.
When choosing a freestanding cooker, check the cabinet width and the gap left between the units either side, the hob type, the usable capacity of each oven and the supply it needs: an electrical circuit rated for the declared load and, on gas or dual fuel models, a gas connection made by a registered installer. Leave the ventilation clearance stated in the manual and fit the anti-tip device supplied with the appliance.
