Floor-standing air purifier by Stadler Form, model Roger, with two sensors that continuously measure air quality and adjust the fan speed in automatic mode. At its heart is the Dual Filter H12, combining a HEPA filter and activated carbon, in front of which sits a washable textile pre-filter with a Sanitized hygiene treatment. It has a timer, a night mode and Wi-Fi control from the app.
When choosing an air purifier it is worth comparing the clean air delivery rate (CADR) and the room size the manufacturer declares for it, the filtration stages and the cost and frequency of replacement filters, the noise level in the quietest and in the maximum mode, and the power draw in continuous operation. To deliver the stated figures the unit needs free space around the air inlet and outlet grilles, a position out of the way and a 220-240 V socket; filters are replaced on the schedule given in the manual and are not washed unless the manufacturer allows it.
