Smart Air SA600 Air Purifier CADR 500 m3/h HEPA H13 Filter

A box purifier with two air inlets and two HEPA filters, a design the manufacturer uses to raise airflow without raising noise. It states up to 500 m3/h of clean air, five fan speeds and a noise level of between 24 and 52 dB(A), with a draw that runs from 3 to 60 W depending on speed. It is intended for living rooms, offices and classrooms, and the HEPA and carbon filters are sold separately as replacements.

When choosing an air purifier it is worth comparing the clean air delivery rate (CADR) and the room size the manufacturer declares for it, the filtration stages and the cost and frequency of replacement filters, the noise level in the quietest and in the maximum mode, and the power draw in continuous operation. To deliver the stated figures the unit needs free space around the air inlet and outlet grilles, a position out of the way and a 220-240 V socket; filters are replaced on the schedule given in the manual and are not washed unless the manufacturer allows it.
