Electric storage water heater by Ariston, model Lydos Eco 100 V ES EU. It stores 100 L of domestic hot water and keeps it up to temperature with 1500 W of power. It is fitted wall-mounted, vertical and its capacity suits three or four people.
When choosing the capacity, count the number of people and of simultaneous draw-off points: a tank that is too small means waiting for the next heating cycle, and one that is too large pays for insulation that is never used. The stated mounting position must be respected, because the vertical, horizontal and multi-position versions are not interchangeable. The unit needs a safety valve on the cold water inlet and a 230 V supply; in hard water areas the anode should be checked regularly.
