Freestanding electric stove by Dimplex, model Westbourne (reference 500006025). It uses the manufacturer’s Optimyst technology: an ultrasonic transducer produces a very fine water mist which, lit by LEDs, reproduces flames and smoke without combustion, so the appliance needs no chimney, flue or building work. The flame effect can be run with the heater switched off.
When choosing, look at the two heat settings (1000 and 2000 W) and at the fact that, being a water-vapour appliance, the tank has to be topped up regularly through the opening door with the water the manual specifies. Installation is freestanding on a firm floor with a 230-240 V socket; no flue or dedicated ventilation is required. The manufacturer declares a two-year commercial warranty.
The data shown comes from the documentation published by the manufacturer; in case of divergence the official datasheet prevails. The product is covered by the two-year statutory warranty for defects under German law (§§ 434 ff. BGB).
