Storage electric water heater by Saunier Duval, model LineaAqua E-SD 30 ES C4. It stores 30 litres of domestic hot water in a vitrified steel tank with a shielded anti-limescale element and a magnesium anode, and is fitted vertically on the wall. Its compact size (62 x 34 x 38 cm) suits a single draw-off point or one person: washbasin, sink or short showers.
When choosing the capacity, count the number of people and of simultaneous draw-off points: 30 litres cover single use, not a full bath or two taps at once. The stated mounting position must be respected, because the vertical, horizontal and multi-position versions are not interchangeable. The unit comes with a universal wall bracket as standard to make replacing an old heater easier, needs a safety valve on the cold water inlet and a 220-240 V socket; the declared annual ErP consumption is 576 kWh.
